My 1st Sunshine Blogger Award!

Thank you to Greys Area at for nominating me for this award! This is my first Sunshine Blogger Award and I’m thrilled to have been nominated.

I was given the 11 questions below to answer:

Which country are you blogging from
? I am blogging from the United States.

How many times have you traveled out of your country
? I believe I have gone out of the country about 8 times in my life. I plan to go to many more countries in the near future!

How do you define success
? I define success as achieving goals you have set for your life that helps to better the person you are. I think that although having a strong career and wealth can show a person’s success; I also think that there are many internal struggles that people overcome that should be acknowledged as success.

Most important person in your life? I’m blessed to have quite a few important people in my life. My parents are my two biggest supporters and raised me to be determined in whatever I do. My friends encourage me to go after my dreams and always indulge in planning for the future with me. I’m really surrounded with a great group of people in  my life.

What inspires you to write
? I write because I think there is so much to be shared about the world. Whenever I go somewhere new, spot a new trend, learn something new, etc., I feel like I need to share that with others. Writing is a way to connect with others, and through my blog I hope to do that.

Coffee or tea? I love both. It really depends on the day and my mood. I usually drink more coffee but a good green tea latte is my go to.

Current profession
? Is being a student a profession? My part-time job is being a Figure Skating coach to younger children. I love being a part of a child’s first experience on skates and watching them learn.

What do you think about my (Greys Area) blog posts? I love the vibe of your overall blog. Your poetry is very beautiful and really gets me thinking. My favorite piece of your’s is Just a Test of Time.

Political view? I’m a college student, take a guess.

Favorite book
? This is a hard one… The most recent book I read that I really enjoyed was Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. It was a very sweet and fun read about a girl who moved to Italy for the summer with the dad she never met. It really made me want to move to Italy.

Best childhood memory? I have a lot of great childhood memories, but I think my favorite is all of the times my cousins and I were at my grandparents campground. We had a lake nearby, a few of the electric scooters and golf carts to ride, and all of the people staying there to hangout with.

My 11 questions for you are:

What is one thing you can’t live without? What are you interested in that most people aren’t? What’s one place in the world that you haven’t been to but would like to visit? What languages do you wish you could speak? What do you hope people get out of reading your blog?

  1. Hey Lexie, it’s lovely to read about the nostalgia for your grandfather’s campground (it must be lovely to have one of your own!) and the fact that you are a figure skating coach. Thanks for nominating me. Your comment was lying in my spam folder and even though I fished it out, I could not locate it after! I apologise for that. Enjoy your weekend. xx
